AI design skill

Design Lounge

My own design library, plus a skill that lets AI agents design from it. 543 live pieces, free to use.

Curation, design, development, the agent skill

Design Lounge, a UI design skill for AI agents built by Susan Acharya

What was going on

AI agents can build an interface in a minute. The catch is it looks like every other one: same gradient, same cards, same fonts. Asking it to "make it look good" does not fix that.

What I did

Built a library of 500+ live pieces. Sections, app screens, animations, components, and multiple design languages, each with a working demo and a written brief. Plus 50+ type pairings, 75+ themes, icons, and motion recipes to hold it together.

Then packed it into a skill for Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex. The agent locks one palette, one type pairing, and one component family, builds from the library, and checks its own output for that generic AI look. When the library has nothing for the job, it says so instead of faking it.
